Job Description
As a Home Care Worker, you visit people in their homes to help them with everyday tasks. You help them take a shower, get dressed, and look neat. You also help around the house by cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. Sometimes, you talk with them, keep them company, and help them feel happy and connected. You might also drive them to doctor visits, the shops, or to meet friends. You give support so their family or regular carer can have a break and rest.

Job Requirements
To do well in this job, you should have:
- A real love for helping people.
- Some work experience in home care or aged care (or be ready to learn).
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) – this is good to have.
- A NSW Driver’s Licence and your own car with insurance – must have.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A police check or be happy to get one.
- Be able to work different shifts in Nowra and nearby areas.
What You Need:
Certificate III in Individual Support or something similar (this is very good to have).
- First Aid Certificate (you must have this)
- A driver’s licence (you must have this).
- Experience in aged care or home care (good to have, but not a must).
- Note: Your certificates must be approved in Australia (AQF).
Visa Help: Not Given
You must already be allowed to work in Australia.
